Geoff has a new blog, or 2 haha

Well, we started a new web page for Geoff, and picked one a friend had her son on, who happens to be in the same mission in Brazil, but when Sal saw it, he decided it needed COLOR and PERSONALITY that the web page REALLY lacked! We tried fixing it up a bit but the options were bleak at best. So my DEAR Sal, who has became such a great friend to Geoff and our family, and who as we call "Mr. Party Pants" because of his energy, and great ideas (among other reasons), has put together a blog spot for Geoff as well, and Its beautiful..(ha ha Sal). Welcome to our Blogs.. one is missionsite.net/elderholt and the other is elderholt.blogspot.com We love you Sal!

Geoff has left the building!

My son has entered the MTC, in Provo! His visa to Brazil did not go through in time. We found out the friday before he was to leave to Brazil! He was a little disappointed, but he has found that life will throw you a curve ball, you just have to adapt. We don't know how long he will be there. The message from the Church Missionary Department said as soon as the visa's show up, he will leave to the MTC in Brazil. If you call the mail dept in the Provo MTC, they say they anticipate he will be there until April. In the mean time, we received our first letter yesterday with some funny and surprising news. He said he misses everyone, but it is bitter sweet because he is so excited and happy to be in the Mission finally! He LOVES his new companion. They hit it off right away and have tons in common. Sit down for this....They both do Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu! NO WAY ha ha. What are the chances? He said they were looking forward to P-Day to "roll around!" His District is LARGE, 26! He said normally there are 4-6 missionaries in a district, but they are all waiting for their visa's so they are all waiting together. He has been called to be the District Leader! There are only 2 District leaders for that group, and he is one of them. Very Nice... He is very happy and would love to hear from everyone.
